The Revolving Monitor is suitable for any type of 360 degree or AR content. As with all Garamantis products, its operation is both self-explanatory and playful. The revolving screen practically opens a window to another place, while at the same time offering additional ways to interact with that place through its multi-touch surface. Its size, dynamism and luminosity all contribute to the installation's long-distance impact, and its exceptional design intrigues and attracts visitors. Individual users can explore content in detail, while larger groups can keep an eye on everything, e.g. for group presentations.

Immersive insights and panoramic perspectives

Users have the haptic experience of rotating the entire monitor 360 degrees (without stop, lag or backlash), while being able to choose the direction in which they want to look. They can touch points of interest - such as buildings, machines or products - with their finger to open a different view or more information in any language. From these PoIs, they can also access additional 360-degree views or videos. This installation is equally suitable for getting a general overview as for exploring detailed information on subtopics.

Augmented Reality opens up completely new applications

The Revolving Monitor can display video in real time and augment it with targeted digital content. POIs or additional information can be superimposed on the real image, creating an interactive layer that users can control with touch gestures. The live image is provided either by the monitor's own built-in camera or live streamed from a 360-degree camera located anywhere on the planet. This makes it possible to link separate company sites as well as mixed reality TV shows or distributed live events.
